Salman Khan reacts as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s name comes up at ‘Maatrubhumi’ event
Salman Khan had a cheeky response when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s name was brought up during the trailer launch of ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace’ in Mumbai.
At the event, a journalist mentioned Salman’s previous on-screen pairings with Aishwarya, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma before asking about his chemistry with current co-star Chitrangda Singh.
Responding to the question, Salman quipped, “Chemistry mein punch hai”, prompting laughter from those present.
The actor was also asked about Chitrangda’s best quality as a co-star. He replied, “No insecurity at all.”

Salman’s response has attracted attention, particularly given his much-discussed past relationship with Aishwarya. The two starred together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ (1999), but have not shared screen space since.
‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace’, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, also stars Chitrangda Singh and is scheduled to release in cinemas on 4th December 2026.
