Jay Sean announces UK comeback tour as Diamond Era heads to four cities

Jay Sean has announced his Diamond Era Tour UK 2027, a four-date headline run celebrating more than two decades of success in R&B and pop.

The tour will visit O2 Academy Leeds, O2 Ritz Manchester, O2 Academy Birmingham and O2 Forum Kentish Town in London between 5th and 9th October 2027. Fans can expect a setlist spanning Jay Sean’s career, from his early UK releases to his international chart successes.

The announcement follows a major milestone for the British singer-songwriter, whose global hit Down has received Diamond certification. The achievement makes him the only South Asian artist to earn a Diamond-certified single and the first South Asian artist to reach No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Since his sold-out Origins Tour in 2024, Jay Sean has continued to release new music, including recent single Body, while his catalogue has continued to attract listeners worldwide.

Speaking about the upcoming tour, Jay Sean said: “UK, we’ve got some catching up to do! There’s something about performing back home that just hits differently. You’ve been part of this journey since day one, and these songs hold so many memories for all of us. I can’t wait to get back on stage, relive those moments, make some new ones, and celebrate the Diamond Era together. This one’s going to be special.”

Jay Sean first achieved global commercial success with Down, featuring Lil Wayne, before going on to score a series of Billboard Top 40 hits including “Do You Remember”, “Ride It”, “Maybe and 2012” (It Ain’t The End). In 2020, the “Ride It” remix with Regard introduced his music to a new generation of listeners, reaching No.1 in several European markets and accumulating billions of streams.
