Diljit Dosanjh’s Delhi concert denied police permission over security concerns

Diljit Dosanjh’s scheduled concert at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 30th October has reportedly been denied permission by Delhi Police over security concerns.

According to Mid-Day, the decision was taken in view of security-related inputs and additional police responsibilities during the festive season.

The concert is part of Dosanjh’s ‘Aura India Tour’. It was originally scheduled for 1 November before being moved to 30 October following an appeal to avoid a clash with the anniversary of the 1984 anti-Sikh violence.

The latest development leaves the event’s status uncertain. No replacement date or official cancellation announcement has been confirmed.

Further details are awaited from the organisers and the singer’s team.
