‘Love & War’ targets end‑August wrap as Bhansali closes final schedule

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’ has moved into its concluding production phase, with the team working towards a full wrap before the end of August. The film, led by Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, began its final schedule on 3rd August, marking the last leg of shooting for Bhansali’s contemporary romantic‑war drama.

The accelerated timeline is driven by the cast’s packed commitments. Kapoor is expected to begin promotions for ‘Ramayana: Part One’ by mid‑September, while Bhatt and Kaushal also have upcoming shoots and brand obligations. Bhansali is therefore pushing to complete the remaining war sequences and musical portions within the month.

Industry sources indicate that the production is on track, with Bhansali overseeing back‑to‑back filming blocks to meet the deadline. The director is known for precision‑heavy shoots, but the current schedule has been tightened to ensure the film stays aligned with its planned 2025 release strategy.

‘Love & War’ is one of the year’s most closely watched productions, bringing together three marquee names under Bhansali’s banner for the first time. The August wrap will allow the team to move into an extended post‑production window, including score development and VFX work.
