Alia Bhatt’s ‘Alpha’ set to hit cinemas one-week earlier than planned

The release of the film ‘Alpha’, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, has been brought forward by one week. The film, originally scheduled for 10 July, will now be released on 3 July. The change follows the decision to move ‘Dhamaal 4’ to 17 July, leaving the earlier date without a major competing title.

A source close to the production said, “With no major release planned for July 3, producer Aditya Chopra felt it was the right date.” A trade analyst noted that the revised schedule provides ‘Alpha’ with “two weeks to make the most of an open run,” giving the film a clear window at the box office.

‘Alpha’, part of the YRF Spy Universe, features Bhatt and Sharvari in leading roles, with Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor also appearing in the cast. The advancement of the release date positions the film as the primary nationwide opening for the first week of July.
