Bobby Deol dismisses rumours of rift with Alia Bhatt on ‘Alpha’ set
Bobby Deol has rejected reports suggesting a rift between him and Alia Bhatt during the filming of ‘Alpha’, firmly denying the claims and describing them as entirely unfounded. The actor addressed the rumours after a friend sent him a screenshot of the circulating story, prompting him to clarify the situation.
Speaking to India TV, Deol said he was surprised to see the speculation gaining attention. “Mujhe bhi ek dost ne bheja uss rumour ka snapshot. Main bhi hairaan ho gaya. Log itne velle hai ki kuch bhi likh ke bana dete hai,” he said, adding that the claims had no connection to reality.
He went on to praise Bhatt’s professionalism and dedication to the project. “Alia is a very good actress and she is very professional. She works very hard… I can’t go around proving the point to anybody. So it is not true,” he stated. Commenting on the nature of online chatter, he added, “Log Instagram se influenced rehte hai lekin uspe 90 per cent kahaniyaan sahi nahi hoti hai.”
