Vashu Bhagnani hospitalised in London amid Income Tax probe
Producer Vashu Bhagnani has reportedly been hospitalised in London, days after the Mumbai Income Tax Department conducted searches at 12 locations linked to him, actress Rakul Preet Singh and Panorama Studios.
According to reports, the reason for Bhagnani’s hospitalisation has not been disclosed. When contacted, he reportedly requested privacy and asked to be left alone.
The searches are said to be part of an ongoing investigation into suspected financial irregularities connected to film-related transactions and alleged overseas fund movements. Multiple reports state that officials are examining financial records and overseas transactions linked to film projects.
