Ammy Virk safe after shooting incident involving concert convoy in Canada

A vehicle linked to Punjabi singer-actor Ammy Virk’s concert convoy was caught up in a shooting incident in Canada, following the final show of his ‘Unity Tour’.

The incident took place late on 5th September when unidentified occupants of an SUV opened fire at a vehicle travelling through the city shortly after the concert. Multiple rounds were reportedly fired, although no injuries were sustained by any of the occupants.

Authorities have described the incident as a targeted attack and launched a major crime investigation to establish the motive. A vehicle fire reported nearby shortly after the shooting is also being examined as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Initial reports suggested the targeted vehicle was part of the convoy accompanying Ammy Virk after his performance. However, the singer’s family later stated that he was not the intended target and was unharmed.

Police have yet to confirm who was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident and no arrests have been made. Investigators are continuing to review evidence and gather witness information as the probe remains ongoing.
