Amaal Mallik calls out Salman Khan Films over ‘Hero’ song credit
Singer-composer Amaal Mallik has called out the social media team of Salman Khan Films over a missing credit for ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ in a post marking the anniversary of ‘Hero’.
The song, featured in the 2015 film, was composed by Amaal Mallik and penned by lyricist Kumaar. However, Amaal pointed out that neither the composer nor lyricist was credited in the production house’s social media post.
Amaal took to the comments section to question the omission, urging the team to understand the importance of properly crediting the creators behind a song. He also asked that his comment not be deleted, adding that he wanted Salman Khan to see it.

The incident has since sparked a wider discussion online, with Amaal’s brother Armaan Malik also coming to his defence after the brothers faced criticism from some users.
The credit row comes nearly 11 years after ‘Hero’, which starred Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty and was produced by Salman Khan.
