Sunrise Radio announces Kavita Kukkar as new midday show presenter
Sunrise Radio has announced Kavita Kukkar as its new host of the weekday 12:00 – 16:00 show, taking over from Anushka Arora.
Kavita brings a fresh energy and a wealth of experience to the station, ready to entertain and engage listeners across the UK. Speaking about her new role, Kavita said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the Sunrise Radio family as their new afternoon presenter. After five years away from the mic, it feels like coming home. I can’t wait to share my passion for music with our listeners and bring some sparkle and joy to everyone’s afternoon. Sunrise Radio confirms Anushka Arora to move overseas
Arora’s final show in its current format will air on Friday 21st February. She is expected to remain on the station in a new weekly slot. She moves to New York.
