Sonu Nigam shares health scare as singer battles ‘pinched nerves’
Sonu Nigam has revealed he is recovering from a recent health scare after experiencing severe nerve pain that required multiple medical tests and ongoing treatment. The singer shared the update in a video posted on social media, explaining that he had been undergoing scans and physiotherapy while preparing for an upcoming performance.
Nigam said he had been dealing with “pinched nerves” and had spent the past week undergoing MRI and CT scans to identify the cause of the pain. Describing the impact of the medication he has been prescribed, he added that his throat felt “heavy”, making it difficult to sing comfortably.
He also spoke about the intensity of the treatment, saying his physiotherapy sessions had been “very painful”, but confirmed he would still appear on stage despite the discomfort. Nigam admitted the situation had affected his confidence, noting that he was “not feeling at [his] best”, but remained determined to fulfil his commitments.
