Delhi firing outside gym linked to Guru Randhawa’s circle

Guru Randhawa’s name surfaced in reports after unidentified gunmen opened fire outside a gym in Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh, a facility said to be linked to one of his associates. Police have emphasised that Randhawa himself has no involvement in the incident.

The attack escalated further after a social media post, purportedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility. Authorities have not yet verified the authenticity of the post, but they are treating it as part of the wider investigation.

Police confirmed that around seven rounds were fired by two men who arrived on a motorcycle before targeting the gym’s entrance. No injuries were reported. Officers believe the act was intended as intimidation.

According to details reported by Hindustan Times, the police control room received a call about the firing in the early hours of Thursday. When officers arrived, they found that the shots had shattered the gym’s window panes. The establishment is located on the fourth floor of a commercial building, and investigators are now reviewing CCTV footage from the area.

A senior officer described the attack as “targeted”, though the motive remains unclear. The connection to Randhawa emerged solely because of the gym’s ownership, and police have reiterated that the singer is not linked to the case.
