Kunal Kemmu confirmed as host of Prime Video’s new reality show ‘Alliance’

Prime Video has confirmed that Kunal Kemmu will host its new reality series ‘Alliance’, marking his first time fronting an unscripted show. The series is the first international adaptation of Talpa Studios’ Dutch format created by John de Mol, with the Indian version produced by Banijay Asia.

‘Alliance’ features 16 contestants who begin the competition in pairs but soon find that partnerships shift as the game progresses. The format centres on strategy, changing loyalties and the pressure of daily challenges, with one contestant ultimately emerging as the winner. Prime Video will release new episodes every day at noon, making it the platform’s first daily reality series.

Nikhil Madhok, director and head of Originals at Prime Video India, said, “We are thrilled to bring Alliance to audiences across the country. As a first-of-its-kind format for India, Alliance will combine strategy, shifting loyalties, and constantly evolving gameplay, creating a truly immersive experience that will keep our audiences engaged every single day from start to end.”

Deepak Dhar, founder and group CEO of Banijay Asia, added, “Given the name of the show, it feels appropriate to say we’re thrilled to be in Alliance with Prime Video on this one. What drew us to the format was its sheer scale. The games are ambitious, cinematic, and unlike anything we’ve attempted before… It’s fast, unpredictable, and incredibly dynamic.”

The global premiere of ‘Alliance’ is scheduled for 26th June, streaming globally.
