Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna unite for the first time in Netflix’s film ‘Ikka’; out in July
Netflix has announced its upcoming thriller ‘Ikka’, which brings Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna together on screen for the first time in decades. The film arrives on 10 July and centres on a tense courtroom battle that forces its characters to confront long‑buried history and uncomfortable moral choices.
The story follows a respected lawyer, played by Sunny Deol, who is compelled to defend a man from his past, portrayed by Akshaye Khanna. His return unsettles the life the lawyer has built, reopening old wounds and drawing him into a case that challenges both his principles and his responsibilities to his family. The drama unfolds against a backdrop of personal conflict, shifting loyalties and the heavy cost of doing what one believes is right.
Tillotama Shome appears as a determined public prosecutor intent on securing a conviction, while Dia Mirza plays a wife and mother trying to hold her family together as the pressure mounts.

Produced by Alchemy Films and directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, ‘Ikka’ marks Deol’s first streaming role, offering a performance‑driven return to the courtroom setting.
