Overnights: Geo TV propels in Wednesday ratings

Geo TV has been fast gathering pace in UK ratings, with it leaping ahead of rivals on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
The show ‘Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’ at 21:00 was the most watched show with 48,100 viewers – peaking at 60,000 viewers. The show also went on to beat rival Hum TV’s ‘Mujhe Apna Bana Lo’, which has struggled in the ratings with just 36,400 viewers. The other show on Geo TV that did well was ‘Dil Ishq’ at 20:00 with 46,100 viewers and ‘Jannat’ at 22:00 with 29,900 viewers.
On Hum TV, the biggest show on the night was the last episode ‘Tum Mere Paas Raho’ at 20:00 with 53,800 viewers – peaking at 77,000 viewers. It was followed by ‘Mujhe Apna Bana Lo’ at 21:00 with 36,400 viewers and ‘Mera Dard Na Jane Koi’ at 19:00 with 34,500 viewers. ‘Ishq-e-Benaam’ at 19:30 registered 33,800 viewers and the final episode of ‘Mohabbat Aag Si’ at 22:00 raked in 30,400 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ pulled in 128,100 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 122,900 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 103,900 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ was back on top with 75,600 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 55,000 viewers and ‘Bigg Boss 9’ at 21:30 with 30,100 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ stayed top with 87,600 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 72,200 viewers and ‘Pabband Ishq’ at 21:30 with 57,300 viewers.
On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ ruled with 35,700 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 15,900 viewers and ‘Bhaghyalakshmi’ at 19:00 with 6,500 viewers.
