Kiara Advani is in talks to headline ‘Ki & Ka 2’, with the makers developing the film as a standalone update rather than a continuation of the 2016 Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor title. She has been approached, is engaged in talks, but has not signed the film.
The project remains in early development, with casting and scheduling still open. The male lead is yet to be finalised, and Advani’s onboarding will be confirmed once dates and commercial terms are locked.
Positioned as a spiritual sequel, the film retains the gender‑role commentary of the original but shifts to a new narrative aimed at a younger, urban audience segment.
