Jiostar expands AI capabilities through targeted hiring, reveals GlobalData
Jiostar India Pvt Ltd (Jiostar) is stepping up its investment in artificial intelligence capabilities across engineering, production, automation, and creative technology, according to analysis by GlobalData.
The intelligence and analytics platform said the company’s recent hiring activity reflects a broader strategic intent to establish an in-house AI division and expand its capacity for AI-driven content development.
Data from GlobalData’s Job Analytics Database shows that Jiostar has advertised several specialised roles, including “Visionscaper”, “Narrative Storytelling Lead”, “Engineering Manager – GenAI Studios”, “Visual Mixmaster”, “Soundscaper”, and “Content Strategy Manager”. These positions require expertise in AI-related domains, particularly multimodal content creation, narrative design, and workflow optimisation.

The hiring push indicates a shift in how the company approaches content production, with a growing emphasis on integrating AI tools into creative and operational workflows.

Among the newly advertised roles, the “Visionscaper” position focuses on developing multimodal generative AI content using advanced AI platforms. The role includes responsibilities such as designing policies, setting guardrails, and creating prompts and agentic architectures to support AI-enabled workflows.
Similarly, the “Narrative Storytelling Lead” role centres on structuring AI-generated storytelling processes. Responsibilities include developing writing frameworks, establishing guardrails, and designing prompt systems—including “LLM-as-judge” mechanisms and agent-based roles such as ideation, plotting, and dialogue creation—to guide narrative development.
Jiostar has also introduced the role of “Engineering Manager – GenAI Studios”, which aims to support creators in producing high-quality AI-generated content. The position focuses on building systems for automated evaluation and validation to ensure production-grade outputs.
In the visual domain, the “Visual Mixmaster” role is designed to adapt traditional editing skills to AI-assisted workflows. The position requires expertise in film editing, visual effects, motion graphics, and colour grading to deliver coherent and engaging short-form content aligned with the company’s standards.
