GTC Punjabi announces telecast of Punjabi Icon Awards 2026
GTC Punjabi has announced the telecast of the Punjabi Icon Awards 2026.
The ceremony is curated to recognise Punjabi achievers who have made a meaningful contribution to culture, entertainment, business and public life.
The awards highlight personalities from multiple fields rather than limiting themselves to film and music. This year’s ceremony features appearances from well‑known names including Kapil Sharma, Ekta Kapoor, Geeta Basra and Raj Kundra, reflecting the event’s broad scope. Organised by the Punjabi Cultural Heritage Board, the awards aim to acknowledge those who have contributed to the community’s cultural and social presence, with the organisers describing the initiative as a celebration of “Punjabi pride” and collective achievement.
