JioHotstar enables voting function on reality shows for UK viewers
JioHotstar UK has rolled out its voting functionality for viewers in the UK, marking the first time audiences in the market can directly interact with content on the platform since its launch in September.
The feature will initially be available across reality programming, with flagship reality format ‘Bigg Boss’ set to be the biggest beneficiary. UK viewers will now be able to vote for housemates facing eviction, bringing them closer to the action and aligning the international viewing experience with that of audiences in India.
Announcing the development on social media, JioHotstar UK shared a promotional video carrying the message: “UK we heard you. And now you can vote.”
