Kareena Kapoor Khan confirms father Randhir Kapoor has dementia
Kareena Kapoor Khan has confirmed that her father, veteran actor Randhir Kapoor, has dementia.
Speaking on the latest episode of Netflix’s ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, Kareena praised the programme and revealed that her father watches old films and songs every night. She added that Randhir had also been looking forward to watching the episode. Kareena said, “his memory has become a bit weak. He has dementia.”
In an earlier interview, Ranbir Kapoor had spoken about his uncle’s condition while recalling Randhir’s reaction to a film.
“My uncle Randhir Kapoor, who is going through an early stage of dementia, and he came to me after the film, said ‘Tell dad that he is amazing, and where is he, let’s call him’,” Ranbir said at the time.
