Hema Malini dismisses talk of rift with Dharmendra’s first family

Hema Malini has dismissed speculation of a rift with Dharmendra’s first family, calling recent claims “fabricated” and urging the public not to believe content “created through AI”. Speaking in fresh interviews, she said the Deol family remains “very united” and that both sides have always shared mutual respect and affection.

She reiterated that she, her daughters Esha and Ahana, and Dharmendra’s children from his first marriage-Sunny, Bobby, Vijeta and Ajeeta, have maintained cordial relations over the years. She added that rumours intensified after separate prayer meetings were held following Dharmendra’s passing in November 2025, but stressed that the families continue to support one another privately.

Hema also reflected on her long relationship with Dharmendra, describing him as a “wonderful soulmate” whose encouragement shaped her work and personal life. She said she is still coping with the void left by his death, noting that grief “never goes away”.

Her comments come amid ongoing public curiosity about the dynamics between the two households, with Hema emphasising that the family’s unity should not be judged by selective appearances or AI‑generated misinformation.
