During a theatre visit in Mumbai, the actor told fans, “Hopefully, ‘Awarapan 3’ very soon.” The remark, delivered during the interval and repeated across multiple interactions, has intensified industry focus on the franchise’s next steps.
‘Awarapan 2’ has emerged as one of the biggest surprise hits of 2026, with collections nearing Rs. 100 crore in its first weekend of release. The film’s performance has strengthened the commercial case for a third chapter, though Vishesh Films has not announced a formal greenlight.
