Bhumi Pednekar joins Akshay Kumar in Priyadarshan’s next film
Bhumi Pednekar has been cast as the female lead opposite Akshay Kumar in director Priyadarshan’s upcoming film.
According to reports, Priyadarshan has confirmed Bhumi’s casting in the currently untitled project, which is expected to go on floors in November 2026.
The film will reunite Bhumi and Akshay after their previous collaborations in ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ (2017) and ‘Raksha Bandhan’ (2022).
The upcoming project is reportedly a comedy set in the 1970s, with Akshay said to be playing a tiger hunter. Further details, including the film’s title and the wider cast, are yet to be officially announced.
