‘Apsara’ confirmed to replace ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ this month
Star Plus’ cult series ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ is set to bow out this month, with supernatural series ‘Apsara’ confirmed to replace it.
BizAsiaLive.com can reveal that the Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay-led drama is heading towards its finale, with the final episode expected to air around 20 October. Produced by Mukta Dhond, ‘Apsara’ is a supernatural fantasy thriller which will take over the daily slot immediately after ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ ends.
Interestingly, ‘Apsara’ will be Star Plus’ answer to ‘Naagin’ on sister channel Colors. ‘Apsara’ stars Paras Kalnawat, Samiksha Jaiswal, Adaa Khan and Avika Gor. A lot is riding on the show, particularly as it replaces a major ratings success in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’.
