Fatima Sana Shaikh joins Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Police Company’
Fatima Sana Shaikh has come on board Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming crime action drama ‘Police Company’. Reports suggest the actor has already completed shooting for a special appearance in the film.
The film, headlined by Harshvardhan Rane, is inspired by the life and career of Mumbai encounter specialist Daya Nayak and explores the operations of the Mumbai Police Detection Unit during its battle against the underworld in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
According to reports, Shaikh filmed her portions in September. While details of her character are being closely guarded, sources indicate that her role is brief but crucial to the narrative rather than a token cameo. There is also speculation that the actor could feature more prominently should the franchise expand into a second instalment.
