T-Series unveils first poster for Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Police Company’
T-Series has unveiled the first poster for upcoming crime drama ‘Police Company’ on Instagram, marking the official launch of filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s latest project. The poster introduces Harshvardhan Rane in the role of former Mumbai encounter specialist Daya Nayak, with the film carrying the tagline: “It Is More Dangerous Than D Company”.
Backed by T-Series, the film is inspired by the Mumbai Police special squad that operated between 1997 and 2004 to combat organised crime during one of the city’s most turbulent periods. The story centres on Nayak and the wider crackdown on underworld networks that emerged following the fragmentation of Mumbai’s gangster ecosystem.
While the title revisits territory associated with Varma’s acclaimed crime dramas ‘Company’ and ‘D Company’, ‘Police Company’ is being developed as a standalone film told from the law enforcement perspective.

The cast also includes Fardeen Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Paresh Rawal, Saurabh Shukla, Makrand Deshpande and Ashwini Kalsekar. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Ram Gopal Varma, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 4th June 2027.
