Sony TV announces return of ‘India’s Best Dancer’ for fifth season
Sony Entertainment Television has confirmed that ‘India’s Best Dancer’ Season 5 will premiere on 6th June 2026 at 21:00, airing on both the channel and Sony LIV.
The new season brings together Karisma Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi, Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis on the judging panel, marking the return of a line‑up familiar to viewers of the franchise. Haarsh Limbachiyaa will resume hosting duties.
Season 5 will centre on contestants presenting their interpretation of ‘India Wala Dance’, with performances expected to draw on Bollywood’s musical and emotional vocabulary. The format continues to emphasise personal expression, nostalgia and a wide range of dance styles, with participants selected from across the country.
