Sony MAX 2 to launch on Virgin Media in December

Sony Pictures Networks is set to launch Sony MAX 2 on Virgin Media in December, BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively confirm.

This will make the broadcaster, the only network to have four channels, including two Bollywood movie channels, on the platform.

Sony MAX 2 is the only channel in the UK dedicated to classic Bollywood film titles. The channel showcases a rich collection of movies and iconic stars from the 1960’s to the early 2000’s, it promises a journey of real cinema. Our viewers on Virgin Media will now also get the chance to experience and re-live memories from yester-years, with captivating stories, dialogues, characters and music that will both entertain and touch hearts again with your favourite movies like ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Silsila’, ‘Kabhi Kabhie’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, ‘1942 A Love Story’, and ‘Don’, to name just a few.

Sony MAX 2 will launch on Virgin Media EPG 808 on Tuesday 3rd December 2019. It will be available to Virgin Media TV customers as part of the company’s Asian Mela add-on.
