‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ 2026 set for grand UK launch as Air India leads 11-brand partner ecosystem

ZEE TV UK is raising the bar for music reality television with what it describes as the biggest season yet of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, bringing together an unprecedented 11-brand commercial partnership ecosystem led by Air India as title sponsor.

The new season premieres on today (19th September) and aims to deepen the programme’s connection with British Asian audiences through a blend of entertainment, culture and community engagement.

The broadcaster says the scale of partner participation is rare, with companies from aviation, travel, remittance services, wellness, hospitality, food, media, publishing and events all backing the franchise. According to ZEE TV UK, the initiative reflects the diverse interests and experiences of the British Asian community that has helped make ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ one of the most enduring music formats on television.

At the centre of the campaign is Air India, whose role extends beyond sponsorship. ZEE TV UK positioned the airline as a symbolic link between the UK diaspora and India, aligning the show’s themes of music, identity and belonging with travel and family connections.

The season is also supported by Southall Travel as presenting partner, alongside brands including Bigen, Remitly, Vitabiotics, Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa, Pooja Sweets & Savouries, Dairy Valley, Sunrise Radio, Samara Events UK, and publication partners Garavi Gujarat and Eastern Eye.

Visually, the new season has been reimagined as a grand concert-style production. Promotional material showcases an opulent stage design and large-scale musical performances.

According to ZEE TV UK, the series will feature 36 original episodes and 100 live musicians, supported by a judging panel comprising Shankar Mahadevan, Kumar Sanu, Javed Ali and Niti Mohan. The broadcaster says the production has been designed to deliver a concert experience rather than a conventional competition format.

Additional promotional images highlight the scale of the performances and the elaborate visual presentation planned for the series.

Commenting on the launch, Parul Goel, Territory Head Europe at ZEE Entertainment UK, said: “What excites us most isn’t just the number of partners, it’s the diversity of industries and, more importantly, communities they represent. Aviation, travel, remittance, wellness, hospitality, food, media, publishing and events have all aligned behind one show, united by the belief that music is the most powerful connector of people.”

Goel added: “‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ has always been more than a talent show for us — it’s a mirror of the British Asian community’s journey, its celebrations and its ties to home. With Air India leading the way, a completely reimagined concert format, 100 live musicians and world-class production values, this is the most ambitious season in the show’s 20-plus-year history, and one built to bring every part of our community closer together.”

ZEE TV UK said the programme will air throughout a packed festive period that includes Navratri, Dussehra, Karwa Chauth, Diwali, the wedding season, Christmas and New Year celebrations, positioning the show as a major entertainment event for audiences across the UK and Europe. The format will be available through Zee TV UK, ZEE TV DE and ZEE5, alongside distribution partnerships with Sky, Virgin Media, Samsung TV Plus, Rakuten TV and BT/EE.

For ZEE TV UK, the message behind the new season is simple: music remains one of the strongest cultural bonds for diaspora communities, and ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ 2026 is being positioned as a celebration of that shared connection.
