Ranbir Kapoor & Yash’s ‘Ramayana’ trailer to be unveiled later this month
The makers of ‘Ramayana’ have confirmed that the trailer for the Ranbir Kapoor and Yash‑starrer will be unveiled worldwide on 24 July 2026, bringing clarity to weeks of speculation surrounding the film’s promotional rollout. The announcement has set off considerable excitement, with the project already regarded as one of the most ambitious mythological adaptations attempted in Indian cinema.
The team accompanied the reveal with an official statement, noting: “From Bharat to the world. For thousands of years, the Ramayana has inspired generations through its timeless ideals of dharma, maryada, courage and compassion. Now, it begins a new journey. One of Bharat’s greatest civilisational epics, presented to the world, at a scale never attempted before in Indian cinema. The Ramayana trailer premieres worldwide on 24th July.” The message underscores the scale and cultural weight the makers intend to bring to the screen.
Ahead of the trailer launch, the film will receive a major international showcase at San Diego Comic‑Con 2026, where Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra will appear on a dedicated panel. The team is expected to present exclusive footage and discuss the film’s creative approach, marking a rare moment for an Indian production to take centre stage at one of the world’s most prominent pop‑culture events.
