Aditya Roy Kapur to star in Bhushan Kumar’s next musical love story
Aditya Roy Kapur is set to headline producer Bhushan Kumar’s upcoming untitled film, an intense musical love story that will be directed by Milap Zaveri. The project marks a new collaboration between the actor, filmmaker and producer, with the film scheduled for a theatrical release in 2027.
Backed by T-Series, the film is being described as a large-scale romantic drama blending passionate romance, high-octane action and a music-driven narrative. While Aditya Roy Kapur has been confirmed as the lead, the makers are yet to announce the film’s leading lady.
Announcing the project on Instagram, T-Series wrote: “A new collaboration begins. Producer Bhushan Kumar, Aditya Roy Kapur, and director Milap Milan Zaveri come together for an intense, violent, and musical love story, backed by T-Series. Driven by unforgettable music, powerful emotions, and a grand cinematic vision, the film goes on floors soon and arrives in cinemas in 2027. Stay tuned!”
Director Milap Zaveri also shared his excitement in a social media post, writing, “It gives me great pleasure to announce my next film, an intense, violent, musical love story starring my dear friend, the handsome, talented hero Aditya Roy Kapur. Get ready to see him in one of the most powerful, heroic, and romantic roles he has ever done.”

He added that he was looking forward to directing Aditya after years of friendship and said he was delighted to reunite with producer Bhushan Kumar following their previous collaborations on Satyameva Jayate and Marjaavaan.
Production on the film is expected to begin soon, with the makers aiming for a theatrical release in 2027.
