Rajpal Yadav sentenced to three months’ jail in cheque bounce case
Rajpal Yadav has been sentenced to three months’ imprisonment by the Delhi High Court in connection with multiple cheque bounce cases linked to a debt dispute.
The court passed the order in seven separate cases, with Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma directing Yadav to undergo three months’ imprisonment in each matter. Alongside the sentence, the actor has been ordered to pay ₹1.05 crore to the complainant in each of the seven cases.
The court also instructed Yadav to pay an additional ₹1.0475 crore to the complainant, along with Rs. 25,000 to the State. His wife, Radha Yadav, has separately been directed to pay ₹5.05138 crore to the complainant in each case.

According to the court’s order, the Rs. 2.25 crore already paid by the actor will be adjusted against the final amount payable.
The cases stem from a long-running financial dispute involving an alleged debt of around ₹9 crore. The latest ruling marks a significant development in the legal proceedings, with the court outlining both the custodial sentence and the financial liabilities arising from the case.
