Ofcom finds ION TV Limited and Ramadan Radio Live in breach
Ofcom has found Asian broadcaster ION TV Limited in breach of its licence conditions, with the regulator’s breach decision-maker considering the breaches serious enough to be considered for a statutory sanction.
The breaches relate to Conditions 3(1), 3(2), 4(1) and 4(2) of its licence. Ofcom said the seriousness of the breaches will be reconsidered by the sanctions decision-maker as part of the statutory process.
Meanwhile, Ramadan Radio Live is among six radio licensees found to have failed to pay their annual licence fees by the required deadline.
