Niti Taylor reveals abusive teenage relationship on ‘The Alliance’ after ex‑boyfriend burnt her with a cigarette
Niti Taylor has spoken on Prime Video’s reality series ‘The Alliance’ about an abusive relationship she experienced as a teenager, describing physical violence and controlling behaviour by her former boyfriend. Her account emerged during a conversation with fellow contestants Mini Mathur, Ruhee Dosani and Delbar Arya.
Taylor recalled that the relationship became violent early on, saying her ex‑partner was “psychotic” and prone to aggression. She described one incident in which he burnt her thigh with a cigarette and then slapped her, showing the mark on her skin as she recounted the episode.
She said, “He burnt me with a cigarette and then slapped me. I was very young and didn’t understand anything. You don’t know how to judge people at that age.”
Taylor explained that the incident took place on his birthday, after which she decided to end the relationship. She added that her age and inexperience made it difficult to recognise abusive behaviour at the time.
