Netflix rolls out steep UK price hike, pushing Premium past £20

Netflix has increased its UK subscription prices across all tiers, with the new rates now active for both new and existing customers. The uplift affects the ad‑supported, Standard and Premium plans, marking one of the streamer’s steepest UK adjustments in recent years.

The ad‑supported tier moves to £7.99, while the Standard plan rises to £13.99. Premium climbs to £20.99, reflecting a continued push towards higher ARPU as Netflix expands its content slate and invests in platform upgrades. Existing subscribers will see the new pricing applied from their next billing cycle, with notifications issued ahead of the change.

The update aligns with Netflix’s broader international pricing strategy, positioning the UK among its higher‑value markets as the platform leans further into originals, live programming and premium features.
