Netflix premieres thriller ‘Vadh 2’

Netflix has released ‘Vadh 2’, the sequel to the psychological thriller that first introduced audiences to the morally complex world of Shambhunath and Manju.

The film centres on Shambhunath, an ageing prison guard, and Manju, a long‑term female inmate. Their unlikely bond, formed through years of quiet understanding, is tested when a violent incident disrupts the fragile order of the prison. As suspicion spreads and loyalties shift, both characters are forced to confront the consequences of their past choices.

Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta and Kumud Mishra lead the cast, bringing a grounded intensity to a narrative that blends emotional drama with slow‑burn suspense.
