Namik Paul & Vikram Singh Chauhan to lead new show on Sony TV

Indian television’s popular star Namik Paul, who was last seen in ‘Ek Duje Ke Vaaste’ has confirmed that he will be playing one of the male leads in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming tentatively titled show ‘Ek Deewana Tha’.

As well as Paul, the show will also star Vikram Singh Chauhan, who has been a part of Star Plus’ ‘Jana Na Dil Se Door’. An actress for the show is expected to be officially announced this week.

The new show has been described as a romantic thriller and comes from the same producer as ‘Beyhadh’ on the same channel, Prateek Sharma.

Paul was earlier linked to ‘Kavya Ki Prathna’, which has been shelved. Incidentally, ‘Jana Na Dil Se Door’ is also going off-air this month on Star Plus, so the timing works in favour of Chauhan.
