Lyca Radio Network confirmed as partner of Diwali Story at Wembley Arena

Lyca Radio Network has been confirmed as the exclusive radio partner of the much‑awaited stage spectacle ‘Diwali Story – The Journey of Ram: A Musical’, which arrives at OVO Wembley Arena on Sunday 27th September. The production follows its sold‑out debut at the Royal Albert Hall and is now scaling up for a one‑night presentation expected to draw 10,000 attendees.

Produced by Sanatan Events, founded by Nitin Palan MBE, the show is directed by Samir Bhamra with an original score by Rahul Ranade. Choreography and creative direction come from Rohan and Shruti Shah, leading a full international cast of actors, dancers and vocalists from the UK, India and the wider South Asian diaspora.

The musical presents the Ramayana as a single‑night theatrical event, told in four chapters — the royal court, the forest exile, the great battle and the return home. The script is in English, designed so families can experience the story together without prior knowledge of the epic. Ranade has composed a fully bespoke soundtrack of seven new songs and instrumental cues, drawing on classical and contemporary Indian traditions.

The production is being staged specifically for OVO Wembley Arena, with theatrical lighting, projection, atmospheric effects and a Diwali finale designed to be visible from every seat.

Doors open at 4:30pm, followed by a pre‑show featuring student performers from 5pm to 5:45pm. The main show runs from 6:15pm to 9:30pm.
