Dino Morea questioned by Mumbai Police over Mithi River desilting project

Dino Morea has been questioned by the Mumbai Police Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in connection with the alleged financial irregularities linked to the Mithi River desilting project.

Morea appeared before the EOW on Thursday, with investigators reportedly seeking to verify information that emerged during their probe into the case.

This is not the first time Morea has been questioned in connection with the investigation. He and his brother Santino Rocco Morea were previously questioned by the EOW in May 2025.

Reports of Morea’s alleged arrest surfaced following Thursday’s questioning. However, the actor has denied the reports, stating that they were “not true”. The EOW has not officially confirmed an arrest.

The investigation concerns alleged financial irregularities in the Mithi River desilting project, with the EOW examining financial transactions and links between individuals connected to the case.
