Dharmendra passes away; aged 89
Veteran Bollywood icon Dharmendra has sadly passed away, just 12 days after being discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where he had been admitted in late October following complaints of breathlessness.
Dharmendra made his cinematic debut in 1960 with ‘Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere’, embarking on a career that spanned more than six decades and cemented his place as one of Indian cinema’s most beloved stars. His final film, ‘Ikkis’, is due for release this December.
