BizAsia Co-Founder and media mogul Raj Baddhan has been named in a list of ‘London’s Most Influential’ list for 2023.

The list was published by the Asian Standard London newspaper – the full list is here.

BizAsia co-founded by twin brothers Raj and Lakh Baddhan, clinched the prestigious ‘Website of the Year’ award at the Asian Media Awards in 2023. The accolade added to the website’s already impressive collection of awards, showcasing its consistent excellence in the field of Asian media and entertainment.

Baddhan, the current CEO of Lyca Media, has propelled the company to new heights, with his strategic initiatives and innovative approaches have contributed to the success of Lyca Radio, making it a formidable player in the media landscape.

Baddhan told BizAsiaLive.com, “I’m delighted to be recognised as one of the most influential people in London. This wouldn’t have been without the support of my truly hard working & passionate team & our commercial partners. A huge thanks to our listeners & the readers of BizAsiaLive.com that make us what we are. A special acknowledgment also to the team of Asian Standard for compiling the list. Well done to all the people in the list.”

Lyca Radio, under Baddhan’s leadership, has recently expanded its reach to Greater Manchester, marking a strategic move to broaden its audience base.

The radio station, guided by Baddhan’s vision, is making significant strides in closing the listenership gap against its rival, Sunrise Radio, particularly in the competitive London market.

The list also includes UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan. Other media influencers include Sunrise Radio Managing Director Tony Lit MBE, LBC radio presenter Sangita Myska, Channel 4 news presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy, BBC news presenter Naga Munchetty, radio host Romesh Ranganathan.
