ARY Digital announces launch of ‘Dar-e-Nijaat’

ARY Digital is set to launch ‘Dar‑e‑Nijaat’, a new Umera Ahmed–written drama led by Sheheryar Munawar and Durefishan Saleem. The series brings together a heavyweight ensemble and a storyline built around love, sacrifice and the consequences of past choices.

Munawar stars as Abu Bakar, a thoughtful, soft‑spoken man shaped by his mother Khushbakht’s resilience. Saleem plays Zaryab, a carefree youngest sister whose life shifts when her dreams collapse and her path crosses Abu Bakar’s. Nameer Nawaz Khan features as Zamil, her closest friend, whose privileged, happy‑go‑lucky world begins to fracture as time moves them apart.

The drama tracks how Zaryab and Zamil’s fairytale friendship unravels, how Abu Bakar’s quiet strength enters her life, and how each character confronts the doors that love opens — and the ones it closes. The narrative also moves between timelines, with Sahar Hashmi portraying young Khushbakht (Bella), and Sania Saeed taking over the character in the present day. Romaisa Khan appears as Hamna, whose elopement with Abu Bakar triggers a chain of consequences that reshape multiple lives.

The cast includes Saba Hamid, Nadia Afgan, Mahmood Aslam, Faran Tahir, Adnan Shah Tipu, Adnan Jaffar, Dania Enwer and Nooray Zeeshan. The drama is directed by Saqib Khan.

‘Dar‑e‑Nijaat’ premieres on ARY Digital from 1st August 2026, airing Friday and Saturday at 20:00.
