92 News to cease broadcasting on Sky in UK
Pakistani news channel 92 News is set to discontinue its broadcast on the Sky platform in the UK.
Launched to UK viewers in 2017, 92 News made a notable impact with a solid audience despite the competitive market saturated with numerous Pakistani news channels. However, the channel will say goodbye to its UK viewers on Thursday, 1st August 2024. It is currently available on Sky channel 740.
92 News is the second Pakistani news channel to shut down its linear operations this year. Last month, Dunya News also closed its linear service due to declining advertising revenue and rising transmission costs.
