ZEEL named Entertainment Brand of the Year; also secures 29 metals
ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) has been named Entertainment Brand of the Year (Regional) at the GEMA TV/Streaming India Awards 2026, while also securing 14 Gold and 15 Silver metals across a range of creative and marketing categories.
The recognition comes as the broadcaster and streaming company continues to expand its content and brand initiatives across regional and national markets. The awards acknowledged ZEEL’s work in areas including Brand Promotion, Storytelling, Idea Craft, Design and Creative Execution across properties such as ZEE TV, ZEE5, ZEE Cinema, ZEE Marathi, ZEE Tamil and Bangla ZEE5.
Formerly known as the Promax Awards, the Global Entertainment Marketing Academy of Arts & Sciences (GEMA) Awards are among the industry’s recognised platforms for honouring excellence in television, streaming and media marketing.
Over the past year, ZEEL has rolled out more than 100 entertainment titles under its “Aapka Apna Z” brand philosophy. Key launches included Tumse Tum Tak on ZEE TV, Kamali on ZEE Marathi, Annaya on ZEE Kannada and Kaalipotka on ZEE5.

ZEE TV launches ‘Apnotsav’ to mark the festive season
The company said its award-winning campaigns reflected efforts to connect with audiences across languages and platforms through culturally relevant storytelling and audience-engagement initiatives. Among the recognised campaigns were the network’s “Aapka Apna Z” rebranding exercise, promotional initiatives around shows such as Jagadhatri and Abar Proloy 2, as well as campaigns including Mother’s Day x Dilfluencer and Yere Yere Pausa Folk Remix.
ZEEL also received recognition for audience engagement initiatives linked to the 23rd ZEE Cine Awards 2025, highlighting the network’s focus on combining content promotion with fan interaction and brand partnerships.
