Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’ set for global cinema release this Christmas
Phars Film has acquired international distribution rights for ‘King’, the upcoming action film starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Siddharth Anand, with a worldwide theatrical release scheduled for 24th December 2026.
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Marflix Pictures, the film marks a reunion between Khan and Anand following their previous collaboration on Pathaan.
Announcing the deal, Phars Film chairman Mr Golchin said the company was proud to bring the film to international audiences, describing Khan as a global icon with broad cinematic appeal. Meanwhile, Red Chillies Entertainment CEO Venky Mysore said Phars Film’s international reach and market expertise would help strengthen the film’s prospects overseas.
