Salman Khan’s ‘The Bollywood Big One’ tour to be held in August?

Salman Khan’s highly anticipated ‘The Bollywood Big One’ tour has been postponed due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, following the recent tragic events in Kashmir. Reports now suggest the tour will be rescheduled for August.

A source told Mid-Day, “Rehearsals were well underway, and the shows had completely sold out. However, on Sunday, Salman convened a meeting at his Panvel farmhouse, attended by Sohail and Jordy, while London-based organiser Farhath joined via video call. Salman was adamant that, given the national tragedy, this was not the right time to hold such an event. The organisers acknowledged the financial impact, as both venues were sold out and excitement among fans was at an all-time high, especially with Salman performing in the UK after a long hiatus. However, they unanimously agreed that rescheduling the tour was the most respectful and appropriate decision.”

Announcing the postponement on social media, Khan stated, “In light of the recent tragic events in Kashmir, and with profound sadness, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone ‘The Bollywood Big One’ shows… We feel it is only right to pause during this time of grief.”

Aside from Khan, the star-studded event was set to feature performances by Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Disha Patani, Sara Ali Khan, and Tiger Shroff.
