Salman Khan receives fresh death threat amid ongoing security concerns

Mumbai Police have launched an investigation after a threatening message was sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police’s WhatsApp number in Worli on Sunday, reportedly targeting actor Salman Khan.

As reported by India Today, the unidentified sender claimed they would assassinate Khan by entering his residence and also threatened to plant a bomb in his vehicle.

A case has been registered at the Worli Police Station. Authorities have not yet identified the sender, and investigations are ongoing.

This latest threat adds to a series of security concerns the actor has faced in recent years. In April 2024, two individuals, allegedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s network, fired shots outside Khan’s Bandra residence in what police believe was an act of intimidation. According to The Indian Express, further investigations by Navi Mumbai Police revealed an elaborate plan to target Khan while he was en route to his Panvel farmhouse.

In response to these repeated threats, Khan has taken significant security measures. He has been issued a personal gun license and now travels in a bulletproof SUV. Despite these ongoing concerns, the actor has continued to fulfill his film commitments with the release of Eid 2025 action film ‘Sikandar’.
