Salman Khan has secured interim relief from the Delhi High Court, which has directed the makers of ‘Kala Hiran’ to remove promotional material that allegedly used his likeness without permission. The court’s order covers posters, teasers and digital creatives that were circulated online and accused of misleading viewers into believing Khan was associated with the project.
The court noted that the disputed promotional assets appeared to imitate Khan’s image and persona in a manner capable of causing confusion. It held that such usage, without consent, could amount to a violation of personality rights. As a result, the producers have been instructed to pull down all offending material from social platforms and refrain from further circulation.
Khan’s petition argued that the marketing campaign attempted to exploit his identity to generate attention for the film. The court’s interim order supports that position, granting him immediate protection while the matter proceeds.
