Ranveer Singh walks out of ‘Don 3’
In a surprising turn of events, Ranveer Singh has reportedly stepped away from ‘Don 3’, nearly two years after the film was officially announced.
Singh had been introduced as the new face of the iconic franchise in 2023, taking over the mantle previously held by Shah Rukh Khan, with Farhan Akhtar returning to direct.
The project generated significant buzz at the time, but progress has been slow, with the film yet to go on floors. Industry insiders suggest that prolonged delays, creative differences and shifting timelines may have contributed to Singh’s decision to exit the film.
A source told Pinvilla, “With Dhurandhar’s success, Ranveer is very clear about the kind of films he wants to do next. He is keen to collaborate with filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Atlee.”
