Rakesh Roshan shuts down ‘Krrish 4’ budget clash rumours with YRF: “It’s all nonsense”

Rakesh Roshan has dismissed recent reports claiming a budget dispute between his team and Yash Raj Films over the upcoming superhero film ‘Krrish 4’. The filmmaker addressed the speculation after several outlets suggested that Hrithik Roshan, who is expected to direct the film, had requested an inflated budget for large‑scale visual effects and action sequences.

Speaking on the matter, Roshan called the rumours baseless. He said, “It’s all nonsense that Hrithik has asked for a Rs 500 crore budget for top‑tier VFX and world‑class action for his directorial debut, while YRF wants to cap costs at Rs 350 crores. Making a good film catering to a [wide] audience takes time. Even I have taken time for each of my Krrish offerings.”

His statement directly contradicts earlier claims that the project had stalled due to disagreements over expenditure. Roshan emphasised that the film is progressing at its natural pace and that large‑scale productions require patience rather than rushed timelines or speculative reporting.
